The so called Web 2.0 has a given the means of (digital) production back into the hands of everyone and allows them to easily create, change and exchange content on and over the web. The platforms and applications for social networking enable people as well to connect to other people, groups and ideas. While society is still trying to understand these rapid changes,
yet another important technology is emerging: the Semantic Web or Web of Data.
